Nature Getaways

Retreat into the Stillness

awaken to your truth - your soul knows the way home

Into the forest I dared to go... to lose my head and to find my soul.
I went in on foot, looking up at the sky; the trees lifted me up, so that I could fly.
A place to reset, reconnect, go within... "Come!" whispered nature, let's become ONE again.

Welcome to our beautiful mountain paradise!

Imagine a place where tranquility wraps around you like a warm blanket — where the moment your car stops, something within you does too. You leave the outside world behind and walk, slowly and deliberately, into the heart of a hidden valley. Here, you’re greeted by sweeping views of national park land with its forested slopes and skies that stretch endlessly above. This is an oasis of nature, beauty, and raw splendor — a place that invites you to relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect with your essence.

Set between the mountains and the sky, our self-sustainable, off-grid haven offers a rare kind of freedom:

Freedom from noise...
Freedom from light pollution...
Freedom from constant 4G & 5G signals and constant distractions...

Instead, you’ll find conscious simplicity — an invitation to slow down, be present, and become more aware of your connection with the Earth and the natural rhythms of life. Here we enjoy over 296 days of sun and starlight each year. And if you feel like balancing the mountains with the sea, we’re just a short drive from natural waterfalls (24km), golden beaches (36km), and crystal-clear coves (44km).

This is a place made for:
- Cycling, hiking, and rock climbing
- Exploring ancient caves and wild trails
- Noticing birdsong, writing your story, or remembering your path

- Remembering the sound of the silence
- Gathering with friends or simply doing absolutely nothing

Whether you stay for a weekend or a while, this valley holds space for you to reset and renew — in stillness, in nature, and in the essence of your truth.

Our land stretches across 12,000 square meters and is alive with a beautiful mix of trees and plants: towering pines, ancient oaks, fig trees, olive and almond trees, apple, mulberry, plum, and citrus — all thriving alongside the wild herbs that define our scent and spirit: rosemary, chamomile, and thyme.

Every corner of our land opens to uninterrupted views of open fields, mountains, and the nearby Natural Park.

Our neighbors? They include our friendly animals — two dogs, five cats, and a few free-ranging hens — plus a chorus of birds (nightingales, cuckoos, sparrows...), red squirrels, wild goats, boars, and the occasional visit from small, harmless reptiles and insects.

Sustainability is sacred here... Water, gas, and electricity are included in your stay, and we ask for respectful and mindful use of our off-grid systems. We’ll be happy to show you how it all works — living here is a co-creation with the land. We strive to live in harmony with the Earth, so we use only sustainable products (i.e. products free from harmful chemicals). You’ll find organic hand soap, body wash, and shampoo available for your use, free of charge. If you bring your own, we kindly ask that you choose only biodegradable products, as we reuse our greywater to nourish our plants and trees.

Between May and October, you're welcome to enjoy our salt-water infinity pool, a refreshing pause under the sun. We also encourage you to unplug from social media and the online world while you’re here. Please note: signal is limited to Movistar (and affiliated networks), and our 50 Mbps Wi-Fi is available near the cabins, but we turn it off at night — so you can rest like we did when we were kids.

Life "Off-Grid"

Living off-grid is a choice — a bold commitment, and a dream. A dream of a world in harmony, where life in all its forms is honored and respected. As the shamans say: we must dream the world into being — with each step, each gesture.

Let’s start at the beginning...
What does “off-grid” really mean? While often used in English even by non-English speakers, the essence remains: it’s a path toward autonomy and sovereignty. Though the level of independence can vary, the shared intent is clear — a desire to live with less reliance on public systems, and more alignment with the natural world.

For us, choosing this life means crafting a sustainable, joyful, and creative existence — one that respects the Earth and all beings. In practical terms, it’s about reducing consumption and ensuring our footprint on Gaia is gentle, even regenerative. In spiritual terms, it’s about presence and consciousness in every act — ensuring our daily decisions bring more beauty and balance into the natural world. And when we say “natural,” we mean the mineral, the plant, the animal, and yes — the human — with all its emotional, mental, and spiritual depth. We often meet people who feel they can’t make a difference. But here, we believe every choice counts — even the smallest ones ripple outward.

To borrow from Cloud Atlas: “What is an ocean but a multitude of drops?”

We also draw inspiration from the idea of critical mass. Here on our land, in 2025, our off-grid life currently means autonomy in electricity and water. The sun is our power source — and, increasingly, our kitchen companion. Water comes from our well, rain, and local springs. We've shaped our lifestyle to make the most of every drop: reducing, reusing, and honoring water as sacred. That’s also why we’re transitioning more toward dry toilets — for the planet’s sake.

Our vision is to keep expanding this sovereignty. Projects like a food forest offer abundant, regenerative resources. We're working on capturing more water, improving rainwater harvesting systems, and even envisioning a sanctuary to protect and celebrate this vital element. We're refining our composting systems and nurturing a thousand more ideas — all part of the bigger dream: to co-create paradise on Earth.
